Injury
A workplace injury can be as obvious as a slip and fall that occurs at a specific time and place.  A workplace injury can also be very complex such as backaches or carpal tunnel of the wrist which occur over time due to the nature of the work the employee does.

Whether you were “working” while you were injured is a key question in Worker’s Compensation and one which we can help you answer.

Benefits
If you are injured at work, your employer is obligated to provide with you with benefits.  As an injured worker you are entitled to the following benefits:

-Temporary Disability: While you are temporarily unable to work, you may be entitled to receive temporary disability pay.  Payments are usually 66% of your salary.

-Permanent Disability: If your injury leaves you with a permanent injury which interferes with your ability to earn a living from the open labor market then you are entitled to compensation.  Even if you are able to return to work you may still be eligible to receive this benefit. Doctors will measure your permanent disability based on the American Medical Association Guidelines.

-Medical Treatment: Any and all medical treatment that is necessary to cure and relieve the effects of injuries caused by an on the job injury will be paid by your employer.

-Vocational Rehabilitation Voucher:

Our office will give your case the compassionate attention it deserves in order to obtain the benefits you deserve.
